What We Do

We provide hands-on biomedical learning experiences for elementary, middle school, and high school students, including:

Authentic biomedical research and laboratory experiences
Exposure to cutting-edge biomedical technologies and medical careers
Structured training in science communication and leadership

Programs

Our educational programs are designed to support students at different stages of their development:

Junior Scientists – Biotechnology, environmental science, and applied research
Junior Doctors – Medicine, anatomy, physiology, and health careers
ASPIRATION – Research literacy, AI-guided learning, and scientific communication
High School Research Symposium – An authentic scientific conference experience for high school students

BioMedEdu provides leadership resources and opportunities that empower students to lead through science, medicine, and community service.

Our Approach

Our programs are grounded in evidence-based educational practices informed by academic biomedical research and STEM education. BioMedEdu emphasizes authentic learning, mentorship, and thoughtful program design to build confidence, curiosity, and preparation for future pathways in science and medicine.

Mentorship & Partnership

Students learn from scientists, physicians, educators, and near-peer mentors from leading research, clinical, and educational environments, including the Texas Medical Center and collaborating institutions.
